Cool Car Tuning

The Cadillac CTS-V already comes with over 550 horsepower from the factory. This car is based on the monster Corvette ZR-1 and has a detuned version of the Supercharged LSA engine.  Well Hennessey Performance Engineering has a couple of performance packages that boost the power output by extraordinary amounts!  The most basic package is the V600 upgrade.  This package consists of 3 upgrades that will net you some big gains.

The Hennessey V600 performance package is centered around a smaller supercharger pulley.  This smaller diameter pulley actually causes the supercharger to produce more boost.  And more boost equals more horsepower and torque.  How much more?  Well the horse power numbers for the Cadillac CTS-V jump by 60 and the amount of torque is increased by 50 foot pounds.  A cold air intake and remapped engine management round out the upgrades.  And that’s it my friends.

Performance numbers are also better than stock: 0-60 MPH flies by in 3.7 seconds, while ¼ mile times come in at 11.85@121 MPH!  Just check out the cool videos below!

• 605 lb-ft Torque @ 4,400 rpm
• 610 bhp @ 6,000 rpm

Performance:
• 0 – 60 mph: 3.7 sec.
• 1/4 mile: 11.85 @ 121 mph
